6 Tuesday, November 18, 1986 / University Daily Kansan Task force sets first of six drug hearings The Associated Press TOPEKA — The Attorney General's Task Force on Drugs plans to meet in Kansas City, Kan., for the first of six scheduled regional hearings aimed at collecting ideas on how to solve drug problems in Kansas. Attorney General Bob Stephan formed the 29-member task force in September to assess the extent of drug problems in the state and to come up with possible solutions. The task force plans to hear suggestions both from professionals and members of the general public. In addition to meeting at Kansas City, Kan, Community College today, the task force has scheduled hearings in Topeka, Pittsburg, Wichita, Dodge City and Hays.
