Softball season to begin

The KU womens' softball team will begin its fall season at home Sunday when it competes against four junior colleges at Jayhawk field.

"The level of competition will not be that great," said head coach Bob Stancilf. "The games will give us a chance to get our feet on the ground."
This season's games are a primer for what is ahead.
Sept. 8th-30th
Kansas will play Johnson County. Barton County, Dodge City and Hutchinson community colleges.
"The fall schedule is more or less practice games," St兰斯长 said. "The spring season is when we play our major games."
