Students file for office

A total of 61 persons will run for 18 Senate seats in the Oct. 1-2 fall elections. Three candidates filed for each of the four freshman class offices.
More students are running for the Student Senate and freshman class offices this year
Last year, 53 students ran for 12 Senate
last year, and 20 ran for freshman class office.
They were all in the Democratic primary.
