Kansas will face North Texas at 5 p.m. on Friday and then again at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Mean Green enter Lawrence with an 18-16 overall record. The team is 3-9 in Conference USA play. North Texas takes a defense-first approach due to poor pitching on the mound and a lack of offense in the bottom half of the line-up.

After hitting the road for its first Big 12 conference tilt last weekend, Kansas softball will return home for its final set of non-conference games this weekend. The Jayhawks are 20-13 on the season including 1-2 in conference play.

Kansas will face Georgia Tech immediately following the game with North Texas on Saturday. The teams will rematch on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. to close out the series.
