KU student dies in accident; sorority to hold memorial

Erin Christine Mitchener, 21, died Dec. 27, one day after a drunken driver struck her car near St. Louis.

Mitchener was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Psi Chi psychology club, KU Students for Clinton and the KU Honors Program. She worked at the Adams Alumni Center and as a teacher's aide at the Hilltop Child Development Center.
