Nearly four months after realizing her fondest career goal and reaching the pinnacle of a 17-year career managing Leno, Kushnick was fired by NBC. She had been accused of strong-arming guests not to appear on rival talk shows.
Kushnick, 46, denied the allegations by Tritt's manager, Ken Kragen, and blamed her bad press on sexism. "They don't like a woman doing this," she said. Calls to her office were not returned yesterday.
