College announces award recipients

Forty-one KU students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences have received awards for high academic standing from the college.
Seven students received Paul B. Lawson awards, given annually to students in the college with the highest standing through three years of study. The Veta B. Lear awards went to 34 students with the highest academic standing in their first year in the college.
Lawson winners are Kenneth Frank, Westphalia senior; Pamela Croyle, Beryl Johnson, Frank Partnoy and Christina Shannon, Overland park seniors; Stephen Miller, Salina senior; and Mark Matthes, Wichita
senior.
