Peter Thompson, dean of fine arts, said he met with Jim Jewell, community program director for Sunflower and producer of "Stage 6", and discussed the possibility of future shows, but no plans have been made.

Frank Barthell, electronic media director of the office of university relations, said Jewell told him this summer that as many as four new shows featuring videotaped performances of KU music and dance students might be produced.

"Stage 6", a cable television program that features local performers, including KU students, will be broadcast for the last time in September, but officials say similar shows may appear soon.
The final four shows will appear on Sunflower Cablevision at 7 p.m. Sept. 7, Sept. 16, Sept. 20 and Sept. 24. They will feature a July 26 performance in Lawrence's Liberty Park of the Mackender Hunt band, a local rock group.
