Foreign students feel Christmas loneliness
The loneliness and separation from friends becomes more difficult for foreign students during Christmas break.

Regina Motta, Brzniu junior, said Christmas is an occasion when foreign students attend classes.
"It's not the same even when you are with friends," she said. "It's a time when most foreign students spend a lot of money because they call everybody because they are lonely."
Songfu Chen, Taiwan graduate student, is in the same situation.
"This is my first semester and I don't know what will happen to me during the break," he said. "I think I can deal with the problem."
CLARK COAN, director of Foreign Student Services, said some foreign students get lonely because there was a lack of personal relationships.
"They are used to having friends around," he said.
Feeling lonely depends somewhat on where a foreign student stays over the holiday. A person staying in a residence center is much safer than a corridor and suddenly there are none, he
