They're usually cheap, they bring us comfort and if you don't feel like cooking at home on a busy night, they are our life-savers. You can make these foods at home, but they just taste better when eaten at a restaurant cooked by someone else. It's like how peanut butter and jelly sandwiches always taste a little better when your mom makes them.
If you usually stay in to cook but the monotony is getting to you, or if you need a break from residence hall dining, change up your weekly habit with one or two nights of eating out. With the right weekly combination of cooking at home and eating out, you can save a little money. The key is taking advantage of weekly restaurant specials throughout Lawrence.
