BY JULIE JANTZER Sitting in a 10-by-8-foot room all night, playing music non-stop, and responding to less-than-sober callers' wishes could sound like quite the task, but for KJHK DJs, this is their unpaid job. The night may bring complete boredom or it may bring in an exciting experience to tell to friends later. Either way, people are listening all night and the radio must play on. You may wonder how the DJs stay awake during the late-night shifts - for some, it's as simple as staying busy. "I'm almost always trying to think about what I'm going to play in the future," Scott Horn, Omaha senior and KJHK DJ, says of working the late shift. Interesting call-ins also keep the show alive.
