Classified Information and order form
Stop by the Kansas offices between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ads may be prepaid, cash or check, or charged on MasterCard or Visa.
Calculating Rates:
You may print your classified order on the form below and mail it with payment to the Kansas offices. Or you may choose to have it billed to your MasterCard or Visa account. Aids that are billed to Visa or MasterCard qualify for a refund on enclosed days when cancelled before their expiration date.
Classified rates are based on the number of consecutive day insertions and the size of the ad (the number of page lines the ad occupies). To calculate the cost, multiply the total number of lines in the ad by the rate that it qualifies for. That amount is the cost per day. Then multiply the per day cost by the total number of days the ad will run.
When canceling a classified ad that was charged on MasterCard or Visa, the advertiser's account will be credited for the unused days. Refunds on cancelled ads that were pre-paid by check or with cash are not available.
The advertiser may have responses sent to a blind box at the Kansan office for a fee of $4.00.
Deadline for classified advertising is 4 p.m. 2 days prior to publication. Deadline for cancellation is 4 p.m. 2 days prior to notification.
