Universal Construction has over 65 years experience... a solid record of performance in the building industry. Since 1931, we have completed several thousand construction projects. 48% of each project was constructed by our own skilled crafts personnel.
Our philosophy is that teamwork makes the difference and that certainly has been true of the entire Lieds Center project, including the
Bales Organ Recital Hall. Our job is to make the whole thing come together just as the architechts perceived it.
In addition to our work for Kansas University, we are continuing work on the six Lawrence School District projects including the new Freestate High School.
Recently, we have been awarded contracts to build the new Douglas County Jail and the Centennial Park Recreation Center. We are very pleased to be a part of the local community and to play an important role in Constructing the future of KU and Lawrence!
