French pianist to perform The KU concert course will present a piano recital at 8:20 tonight in the University Theatre. Guest pianist will be Jeanne- Marie Darre, piano professor at the National Conservatory in Paris. Mme. Darre has been awarded the Legion of Honor and "Chevalier des Arts et Lettres" in her native France. HER AMERICAN debut came a few years ago when she appeared with the Boston Symphony. She has since appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, National Symphony of Washington, the Baltimore Symphony and the Rochester Symphony. Presenting an all Chopin program, her selected numbers will include Fourteen Waltzes and B Minor Sonata, Op. 58. Tickets are available at the Murphy Hall box office or the Bell Music Company.
