School to host Kansas editors More then 250 Kansas editors and their wives will be guests of KU Saturday for Editors' Day. Highlights of the day, sponsored by the William Allen White School of Journalism, will be the dedication of the Kansas Newspaper Hall of Fame Room in Flint Hall and the announcement of this year's Hall of Fame cite. Activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and coffee in Flint Hall, home of the School of Journalism. THE MORNING PROGRAM WILL START at 9:45 when Calder Pickett, professor of the School of Journalism, will pay tribute to this year's Hall of Fame citee. Rolla A. Clymer, editor and publisher of the El Dorado Times, will be the featured speaker for the Hall of Fame Room dedication. The room, which will feature pictures of editors named to the Hall of Fame, was part of a remodeling project financed by the William Allen White Foundation. Herbert A. Meyer Jr., Foundation president, will introduce Clymer. Warren K. Agee, dean, and Malcolm Applegate, administrative assistant to the dean, also will speak at the morning program and Kenneth B. Bruce, president of the Kansas Press Association from Hillsboro, will preside. Editors and their wives will be guests of the University at a noon buffet luncheon in the Kansas Union, then will attend the KU-Oklahoma football game in the afternoon.
