A man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and obstructing justice at 1.07 p.m. Monday at an apartment in the 200 block of West 14th Street. When police went to the apartment on another matter, they observed the marijuana, and the man tried to flush it down the toilet, Lawrence police reported.
