Rumble and tumble
Demolition began yesterday on two University-owned houses at 14th and Louisiana streets. Preliminary clearing (top) began on the house at 1318 Louisiana early yesterday morning. The foundation then was broken (middle), causing the house to collapse. An employee of W.A. Dunbar & Son Trucking Inc., then began to clear away the debris (bottom). The houses are being cleared to make room for the construction of K.K. and Margaret Amini Scholarship Hall, which is expected to be completed nextfall.
