Last night a meeting was held by six University men who felt that their dancing ability had been slighted and an organization known as the Anti-Thalians was perfected. After drawing up a constitution regarding the pledging of new members, the six went to each of the sorority houses and pledged one girl from each house. It is rumored that because of the fact that this society is a coeducational affair, the grip is one of the most important features of the organization. It is said to be a most elaborate affair and that it is especially adapted to University environment. The colors are black and blue. A schedule of events has not been announced. The first meeting of the reorganized Cooley club was held Friday afternoon in Green hall. A mock session of the United States senate was conducted, the members of the society representing senators from the various states, and the Canadian reciprocity measure was debated in a series of three minute speeches. The vote taken before adjournment showed the consensus of opinion to be against reciprocity. At the next meeting Friday afternoon, the proposition to fortify the Panama canal zone will be debated.
