PARENTING Stations created for breast feeding In an ice pack filled cooler in the trunk of Blythe Glemming's car lies chilled breast milk she pumped hours earlier. BY BRIAN LEWIS-JONES Glemming, Oklahoma City graduate student, has been using the Burge Union lactation station for the past two months, which has helped her save time, ensure privacy and keep a good supply of milk for her son, born on Dec. 10, 2006. Similar to the Burge lactation station, Kathy Rose-Mockry's office has been used as a lactation station four times since the stations opened earlier this semester. "I need all the time I can get," she said. "It's really worth it." There are several lactation stations on campus where students and faculty can nurse their children or express their milk. Users should call a couple of weeks ahead of time to ensure the room's availability.
