The NCAA announced earlier this month that it had narrowed its choices for a new headquarters to Indianapolis and its longtime home in Overland Park.
A decision is expected in late May or June, making it nearly impossible for state money to be guaranteed when the NCAA announces its decision. Lawmakers likely won't convene for the special session until June2.
