Page 18 Monday, June 17, 2013 The University Daily Kansan BASKETBALL Henrickson, Self host camps for younger players MAX GOODWIN mgoodwin@kansan.com Some of the best female basketball players from across the state gathered in Allen Fieldhouse last week for Bonnie Ball, the elite basketball camp run by women's coach Bonnie Henrickson. Sixty-five players attended Hen- rickson's camp, now in its ninth year. The camp is designed for knowledgeable players with experience on varsity teams in high school, allowing Henrickson to dictate the "The bulk of it is, 'here's what we do, and this is how we do it..." to draw future players to the University. "It's a chance for us to get kids on campus and get student athletes on campus," Henrickson said.
