Events: 200m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay Results: She placed fourth in the 200-meter and earned the second- best time in the semifinals with a 22.56 seconds. She also placed fifth in the 4x100m relay along with Valena, Morris and Dixon with a time of 43.92 seconds. Daniels also placed sixth in the 4x400m with Washington, Valentine, Morris and Dixon with a time of 3:32:74 minutes. DIAMOND DIXON Hometown: Houston, Texas Event: 4x100m and 4x400m Point: 4x100m and 4x400m Results: Placed fifth in the 4x100m with team- mates Daniels. Valentine and Morris. She earned sixth in the 4x400m relay along with Daniels, Valentine, Morris and Washington. NATALIA BARTNOVSKAYA Hometown: Krasnovarsk, Russia Event: Pole Vault Results: Placed second in pole vault with 4.40m(14'5.25"). CHRISTEN GUENTHER Hometown: Lake Quivira, Kan Event: Pole Vault Results: The former pole vaulter at BYU in her only season at Kansas placed 11th at the pole vault with a throw of 4. 20m (13'9,25") , giving the team six points. ALENA KRECHYK Hometown: Grodno, Belarus Event: Hammer Throw Results: Finishing sixth last year at the Championships, she topped this year with third place in the Hammer Throw with a 68.22 mm (223"10"). SYDNEY CONLEY Hometown: Fayetteville, Arkansas Loud Long Jump Results: Placed 17th with a jump of 6.20m (19'9") and was one of two Jayhawks to place in the top 20 in the event. ANDREA GUEBELLE Hometown: University Place, Wash. Events: Triple Jump, Long Jump Results: The bronze medalist in the Olympic Trial placed second in the Championships with a jump of 13.63 m (44'8.75"). She also placed second in the Long Jump with 6.50-meter jump (21'4"). JESSICA MAROSZEK Hometown: Seymour, Wisc. Event: Discuss Results: Placed fourth in discus. HEATHER BERGMANN Hometown: Concordia, Kan. Event: Javelin Results: Placed sixth with a throw of 52.67m (172'9") a personal best. LINDSAY VOLLMER Event: Heptathlon Hometown: Hamilton, Mo. Results: Placed first in heptathlon (comprised of 100m, high jump, shot put, 200m long jump, javelin and 800m) and became the program's first outdoor individual champion. Received 10 points, and it was obviously her personal best. Her best event was placing first in javelin with 46.18m (151'6")* , also a personal best.
