Bout Fatal for Boxer PHILADELPHIA — (UPI) Heavyweight boxer Lucian Sonny Banks of Detroit died early today in Presbyterian Hospital of brain injuries received Monday night when he was knocked out by Leois Martin in a bout at the arena. THE SOONERS again look like the chief challenger. Holding a 12-3 Big Eight record, the Sooners have back Marty Garber, who finished fifth last year, and Bruce Wilkinson, who ended eighth.
