Page 5 Pancake Race Run Mrs. Riggs ran the 415-yard course in 1 minute 7.6 seconds, 4 better than the time turned in by Olmey winner Jennifer Andrews, 17. A transatlantic telephone call compared times and determined the winner. The race in Liberal was run about 12:30 p.m. CST. TOPEKA, Kan. —(UPI)— Reaportionment of the Kansas Legislature will not be done during the Legislature's 1965 session. Gov. William H. Avery said Monday. Legislative Vote Avery met with House and Senate leaders after the Kansas Supreme Court declared the apportionment of the Kansas House of Representatives was unconstitutional. Avery said it was the unanimous conclusion that redistricting should not be done during the current session. The governor said this was because the court stipulated that reapportionment of the House would not have to be accomplished before April 2, 1966, the date candidates must file for election.
