James Pearson's seat Erosion of man's dignity concern to Senate hopeful William Tarrant, a candidate for Senate, told a meeting of the Collegiate Young Republicans that today's main political issue is not Viet Nam but poverty of thought. "The only great concern today should be with the erosion of the dignity of man. Government should be able to put people on a self help program," said Tarrant. The failure of American Republicanism has been presenting a protest and not a program, he said.
