AN editorial writer for the Kansas City Star, has been an interpreter of African news for several years. The KU African was formed last spring when a group of Africans headed by Swaebu Conateh. The Gambia senior, met to decide how to best inform Americans about Africa. to its staff, and enlarged from four to eight departments, all dealing with Africa and African students. It began as a mimeographed publication of 18 pages, composed completely by African students. Conateh, managing editor of the paper, said. "Its aim is to inform Americans about Africa and African students."
