Those three years saw KU win two Big Eight titles and finish second once. The senior is the conference's all-time shooting percentage champ. Bohnenstiehl,White honored The University of Kansas basketball banquet Wednesday evening in the Kansas Union Big Eight Room was highlighted by the presentation of awards to Jo Jo White and Rodger Bohnenstich. KU'S All-American guard White received the Dr. F. C. "Phog" Allen Award for the second straight year. The award is given to the Jayhawk basketball player voted the most valuable by his teammates. White was not able to attend the banquet due to his participation in the Olympic trials in Albuquerque, N.M. He talked to the banquet crowd over an amplified long-distance phone connection. Rodger Bohnensiehl, the only retiring member of the 1967-68 squad, was introduced as team captain, an honor also designated by team vote. He was presented with a camera by the Lawrence downtown Roundball Club. EUROPE?
