Being a female runner in itself creates another problem. Peggy complains of the "running's not feminine" attitude some people take. She admits to getting looks from people on campus as if she were "rather strange" and had never stopped being a tomboy.

Miss Grinvalsky also looks forward to the women's 880 at the KU Relays in April. Peggy will be the first girl chosen from KU to compete in the relays.
Meanwhile, Peggy keeps busy as a full-time student, majoring in art and anthropology. She hopes to someday work for National Geographic magazine as an illustrator.
