Hayman, visiting professor of political science, will deliver the keynote address at the fifth Personnel Officer's Seminar June 2 and 3 at KU. Dr. Hayman, a 1940 graduate with honors from KU, will speak on "Employee Needs and Organizational Goals." The speaker, whose professional publications number more than 50, has done personnel work in the U.S. Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service. He has been consultant to numerous state, city and county governments. Dr. Hayman received the M.A. in 1947 and the Ph.D. in 1963 from the University of North Carolina where he also was research professor from 1952 to 1955 and assistant director from 1955 to 1963 of the Institute of Government.
