Semester Ends But Summer School Ahead

For most KU students today marks the end of nine months of classes and the beginning of three months of summer fun.

The 1963 KU summer session will open June 6 with orientation for all new undergraduate students. Registration and enrollment will be June 7 and 8, and classes will begin June 10. Final examinations will be given August 1 to 3.
Summer school starts June 10.
All the regular facilities of the University are available to summer session students.
The program is also open to graduate students, teachers, supervisors, principals, and superintendents of schools.
The summer session is designed to allow high school graduates to begin their college work early, and college students finish their college work early.
The Kansas Union and several class buildings will offer the students and teachers air-conditioned comfort.
But for some students, the next few months will be a continuation of the past nine months.
The University Lecture Series will be continued through the summer. Various programs and recitals will be presented by the School of Fine Arts faculty and Midwestern Music and Art Camp members.
