The letter that the CRC had planned to send to the University expressing a knowledge of the complaints that were to be made and an interest in seeing the situation corrected will still be sent, it was decided yesterday evening, Bus Service- (Continued from page 1) to the previous early evening and one returning late. "There is no point in having it run every 20 minutes." she said. She was also in favor of a bus going downtown on Thursday nights when the stores are open. "The girls were trying to support it, I think, but there were too many buses," she said. Jeanie Hinderliter, Ottawa junior and treasurer of Hashinger Hall, agreed that the schedule ran too often. She felt that the lack of night buses would put a damper on evening campus activities. Mary Ellen Kennedy, Wilmetta Ill., freshman and president of Corbin Hall, said "Judging from the women on the floor those who had night classes would be disturbed because it was their only means of transportation." She also pointed out that there were many who didn't ride the bus at all. Lois Freudenthal, Overland Park senior, said that last year such a service was advertized extensively but nobody used it. Sherry Zillner, Mission junior and president of Pi Beta Phi, said that the girls had been so busy with Rock Chalk that they haven't been using the bus. "Just because one case has been brought up, it does not lessen our stand." Warner said. In co-operation with the CRC, the Human Rights Committee of the All Student Council decided last night that they would also send a letter expressing their concern in seeing the edict enforced, stated Frank Thompson, Iola junior and chairman of the HRC. In addition to this letter, Cordell Meeks, Kansas City junior and civil rights co-ordinator for the HRC will send one of his own. Meeks is also going to check with some people that he knows of who had trouble getting housing during the semester change. "The Chancellor's policy is clear, we want to see that it is carried out." Thompson said. "People are hesitant about filing complaints, but if they will file their complaints with us, we will take them to the University."
