Publications Jobs Open
Applications are now being accepted for the positions of editor and business manager of next year's student directory and datebook.
Students interested in applying should pick up an application at the Dean of Student's office at 223 Strong, and return them to the same office by Mon., Feb. 18.
Appointments for interviews will be made after the applications are turned in and selection will be made after the interviews.
Included with the applications must be references from two faculty members and one business associate or employer.
Anyone requesting additional information should call Blaine King, Emporia junior, at VI 3-6960.

State Permits Short Cops
BOSTON — (UPI) — The Massachusetts Senate gave final approval yesterday to a bill to permit three towns to hire short policemen. The bill would allow Framingham, Winchendon and Acton to appoint officers who don't quite measure up to the state's minimum requirement of 5-feet 7-inches.
