DODGERS SPOIL ANIVERSARY19
Tim Belcher pitched his second straight shutout and doubled in two runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 4-1 last night to celebrate their anniversary celebration of Wrigley Field.
Belcher, 2-1, allowed five hits, walked one and struck out seven. He also shot out Cincinnati 6-0 on four hits in his previous start on April 18.
Belcher provided all the runs he needed with a two-run double to cap a three-run second inning against Scott Sanderson, 1-2.
Mike Marshall led off the top of the second with a single and continued to second on right field Andre Dawson after shortstop Domingo Ramos

BIG 8 GOLF RESULTS: The Kansas women's golf team concluded its season with a fifth place finish at the Big Eight Conference tournament, which began Monday and ended yesterday.
The 54-hole tournament consisted of every conference team except Colorado and was played on the Veenker Memorial Golf Course in
Ames, Iowa. Oklahoma State, which had won six of the last seven Big Eight titles, captured its seventh victory with a two-day score of 935.
Kansas finished fourth in last year's Big Eight tournament.
On Monday, Oklahoma State was leading after 27 holes with 465, followed by Oklahoma with 479, Nebraska with 483, Missouri with 484 and Kansas with 489. Oklahoma State's Eva Dahlhof was in first place with 112, followed by teammate Sheila Lingebul and Oklahoma's Audrey Hepburn. Oklahoma State's Loren Lowen was for seventh with 119, and her teammates Sherri Atchison and Shelly Triplett were tied for 13th with 123.
