H. Pat Powers, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Topeka BroadComm Inc. and general manager of KTPK-FM, Topeka, has had 32 years of broadcasting experience. The "Grover Cobb award is given to people who show outstanding service to Kansas broadcasters over a period of years. Mix Uxts Ulrich, chairman of radio-TV. Faculty in the radio-TV sequence of the School of Journalism receive nominations and vote on the award. Cobb is a member of the advisory board for the radio-TV sequence in the school.
