Call 864-4810 20-year-old Lawrence resident was released Tuesday night from Douglas County Jail after being charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, criminal damage and battery, Lawrence police reported. According to police records, witnesses said Brandon approached the Wayne Earl Brandon, 2409 Morningside Dr., No. 5 was charged after he allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from the parking lot of Walt-Mar Discount City, 2727 Iowa St., about 10 p.m. Tuesday. It is its intent that the films receiving the most nominations will be shown the week of April 3. To provide an incentive we will be giving prizes including free film passes and Jayhawk memorabilia. The rules are: 1. KU students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate. Only ONE entry per person. 2. The official nomination form must be used and filled in completely to qualify for prizes. All four categories must have nominations of appropriate existing films. 3. Films shown by SUA this academic year are not eligible for nomination 4.
