Bob Marcum, men's athletic director at KU, said yesterday that the check was KU's share of Big Eight profits from the Orange Bowl and televised conference sporting events. Conservatism to be subject of Will speech George Will, nationally syndicated political columnist, will deliver the second 1979 J.A. Vickers Sr. Memorial Lecture at 8 tonight in Wooldruff Auditorium. Will begin his national journalism career in 1072 as the Washington editor of National Review.
