His job was to remove waste from the number 7 and 8 boilers at the KU power plant. He also helped many out-of-townsers the University. He did these chores unfailingly, seven days a week. He had one vice, however, he smoked quite a bit, like a chimney, But University officials didn't need him anymore, so they hired a team of hit men to rub him out. The work of this gang of tanned assassins can be seen or heard from almost anywhere on campus.
