Prewitt said McMurray had been making regular payments to the University for the past year, averaging about $150 a month.
Prewitt said she was disappointed that McMurry was permitted to leave Kansas.
McCurry is employed at an art gallery in Denver where he makes about $1,000 to $1,200 a month, Cavnagh said. He said he thought the original demands for restitution were unrealistic.
"That's what makes it difficult to enforce judgment," she said.
"He's been no problem at all as far as supervision is concerned."
Mc Murry has complied with all the conditions of parole except for repaying the money, Cavnagh said.
