TRANSPORTATION Elections for busing referendums this week Special elections will be held Wednesday and Thursday for two transportation referendums. One referendum would allow for KU on Wheels to purchase new buses. The other referendum would implement a fare-free bus system. If both referendums pass, student transportation fees will increase $35. Students can vote online at www.ku.edu/computing/election from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. Polling sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Mrs. E's and Wescoe Beach under the overhang.
