Joskua Kendall LOCAL City overturns decision to allow apartment complex Two weeks ago, the city approved the building of an apartment complex at Sixth and Wakarusa streets by 6Wak Land Investments. City commissioners overturned this privilege last night at City Hall. The city had misunderstood the terms of the agreement, which would have also allowed 6Wak Land Investments to build a Wal-Mart near Sixth and Wakarusa streets. The checks were written in the name of Naomi Kidd, a 77-year-old Eudora woman who died in a fire in February 2003.
