Kansas lost 64-60 to Texas. The Jayhawks scored 34 fewer points in Saturday's loss than in Friday night's victory against Missouri. Kansas senior forward Jeff Graves jumped toward the hoop in front of Texas junior center Jason Klotz Saturday. Graves put up two solid 14-point games during the Big 12 Tournament in Dallas over the weekend. ABOVE LEFT: Elated freshman guard J.R. The Jayhawks rolled over Missouri by 25 points in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament in Dallas after trailing by 12 in the first half. The junior guard scored 14 points against the Longhorns Saturday and 10 against the Tigers Friday. Missouri freshman guard Thomas Gardner hacked Kansas junior forward Wayne Simien in the second half Friday. Simien had a career-high 31 points in addition to 11 boards in the Jayhawks' 94-69 victory over the Tigers.
