LOUIS — Kansas City Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil and Florida Marlins manager Jack McKeon will share this year's Sportsman of the Year award, the Sporting News said yesterday. Chiefs coach given sporting award despite a 45-27 loss at Denver. Kansas City won its first nine games before losing Nov. 16 at Cincinnati.
