Louis Michel, professor of architecture and urban design, teaches his students that "a beautiful environment will produce beautiful work." The trees, the hill, the natural geography and the orientation with a view to the south are all good. The way Jayhawk Blvd. wraps around the hill is a nice planning concept." He said previously hadn't been any buildings.
