The Jayhawks currently sit tied for third with Missouri at 62 points, while Texas and Texas A&M are tied for first with 84 points. Nebraska and Iowa State round out the field in fifth and sixth place respectively, the Cornhuskers with 56 points, and the Cyclones with 52. Kansas competed in both of the events yesterday, setting the season's best times in the process. sons best time in the play. Texas finished 20 seconds sooner than the Jayhawks. Despite the day's outcome, Campbell was pleased overall on how his squad competed. "I thought we had a solid session. It could have been better, but the good thing about tonight is we got everyone involved in some way where there is not a lot of pressure," Campbell said. Racing the 500-yard freestyle is Allison Moffit, Morgan Sharp, Shannon Garlie, Malia Johnson, and Rebecca Swank. The Jayhawks are back in the pool today for Day 2 of the competition, and just about the whole roster will be involved.
