Professor Charles Zeleny, of this school is conducting experiments with tadpoles in solving the problem of the human cancer. In his work with the "pollywog," known to all boys, he has cut off the tails and found that the new tail will grow in two weeks. The removal of the tails does not seem to hinder the growth of the tadpoles in any way and the ones which are operated on become strong and healthy frogs as quickly as the others.
