Kan., in the August primary. Creamer, 42, whose felony charge of possession was reduced to a misdemeanor, said he needed the signatures of about 1,200 registered Democrats in the 2nd District to be eligible to run against Rep. Jim Slattery, Done-quarter Creamer said that he hoped to have the necessary signatures by the first week of May and that he soon would be at the University of Kansas to get registered Democrats to sign his petition.
