Teams beat wind, Nebraska in Big 8 Special to the Kansan By Bob Wheat The Kansas women's tennis team fought 25-30 mile an hour wind gusts and remain undefeated at home with a 6-3 victory against Nebraska yesterday. On the men's side, Carlos Fleming and Paul Garvin survived a close match at No. 2 doubles and won 6-4 in the third set, helping Kansas defeat Nebraska 5-4 yesterday at home.
