The band is run on the field by drum majors [Inaudible 02:46] and [Inaudible 02:47]. As the band forms a traditional sunflower formation, we present the new 1974 Pom Pon girls. They are: Wanda Johnson, Suzie Plummerfeld, [Inaudible 04:04], [Inaudible 04:05], [Inaudible 04:06], [Inaudible 04:07], Suzanne McGee, Carol Smith, Denise Carpenter, [Inaudible 04:12]. Ladies and gentlemen, at this time we ask that you stand for a moment of silence to honor Dr. Forrest C. "phog" Allen, basketball coach at the University of Kansas for 39 years. Dr. Allen died September 16th, at the age of 88. And there they go, ladies and gentlemen. Let's hear it for the University of Kansas Marching Jayhawks.
