I cannot thank you enough
for your extreme kindness
in sending me a copy of
Mrs. Inglegield's masterly
answers to "Questions" -
I am shocked at the trouble
it must have given to copy.
But I think I may add that
it is equaled by my appreciation
of the value of its contents.
I send you a note from
Mrs. Inglegield - (Which I think
Emily Verney has not shown
you) - What insight she has
into the best, indeed the only
way of helping her poor
people back into their
lives. And how dreadful it
is to think that this brutal
Commune has forced them
