Description

Judith LeBlanc, professor of Applied Behavior Science and Special Education at the University of Kansas from 1969-1997, discusses her childhood in Beaumont, Texas, including her participation in the Girl Scouts during World War II. She describes her first teaching job working with physically handicapped children, and her subsequent work at a military school in Germany. Dr. LeBlanc describes her experiences teaching at KU and her field of research. Finally, she discusses her work and time spent in Lima, Peru at the Ann Sullivan Center.
